My Story
I am an emergency management and resilience professional with a Master’s degree in Homeland Security with an emphasis in Emergency Management. My work focuses on animal disaster preparedness, planning, mitigation, and recovery, helping organizations and communities build resilience before, during, and after disasters.
In addition to my emergency management background, I bring more than a decade of experience in canine behavior and human-animal partnerships through my work training hearing and service dogs. I also hold a professional certification in Canine Nervous System Regulation through the Waldrup Somatic Method, supporting dogs and their guardians through a relationship-centered and trauma-informed approach.
In addition, I provide compassionate support for individuals and their animal companions navigating aging, serious illness, grief, and life's transitions.
My mission is to strengthen preparedness, resilience, and connection—for people, animals, and the communities they share.
